WoW....memories

Last week I interviewed by middle school teacher, Mr. Richard Chiger.  It was a blast to connect and reminisce.

I have always admired him and he has been one of my childhood heroes.  Why???  Because back in the 70s he taught us compassion and would share his love of animals, especially elephants.  Mr. Chiger back then would take us to Prospect Park Zoo in Brooklyn to get us acquainted with the animals.  He would take us to the Coney Island Aquarium, where I fell in love with Alex, the beluga whale.

Of course back them I loved these places because I didn't know better.  Now I know better and do not  go to zoos, aquariums, and other places that exploit animals.  Now I visit sanctuaries and places that look after animals. I digress.

It was such a wonderful interview that I have two episodes with Mr. Chiger.

I hope you enjoy.
